Thanks to Each and Everyone of You...

The Arch Linux Newsletter, a responsibility I took in early October of 2007. It's been more than four months, and they've been a great four months. I have seen it evolve, from the simple and short newsletter the readers were used to, now being simple but larger, and more organized. It's been easy? I have to say, No!, I have gone through a lot, I'm not a native English speaker, it is my second language, and let me tell you the truth I'm not that good with my first language in the first place. But, since I started doing the newsletter, the readers have been so supporting to me, you may think an email telling me, “Good work on the last newsletter” would have no meaning for me, when I get those by too many people, well, to tell you the truth is touching, each and every day, even if they were from the same person each and every time a newsletter came out.

There was one newsletter release, which was the work of only me, it was sad, in fact, is sad when you have to do work on your own. But, to think how readers will appreciate, and read your work, is good enough on its own. Is good to know, that I'm no longer alone in the making of the newsletter, that now I have a team, of dedicated persons, who just proved to me this week, what a great job they, and we as a whole, can achieve together. And is to you guys, that I direct my most sincere thanks.

Aaron Griffin, you put me in contact with the man who could get me started on this. Jason Chu, you taught me so much, you guided me through making all of this a reality. Eliott, you made the first newsletter make up, thanks for your awesome work, and you have been of great support when I need you. Dusty Phillips, you have proofread with great caution, and have made the newsletter look like a newspaper, you are an awesome proofreader. Simo Leone, you made the second newsletter make up, and the last the newsletter has undergone, thanks for your awesome work, and for proofreading as well, I appreciate. Travis Willard, yeah, you have shown interest in helping me, I noticed, thanks a lot. Renato Leão, thanks for contributing, and for translating to Portuguese. Ronal van Haren, I know you recently, but you have been of great help. Leslie Polzer, don't think I haven't noticed your interest to help with the newsletter, here, I mention you. And, Branko Vukelic, you support the newsletter, and gave me this space to express myself, thanks, this letter wouldn't be possible without this space you provide.

Sorry, if I forgot someone, I just can't recall everyone out of my mind, but I think I missed no one. But, if I did, thanks to you as well, you have been of great support in one way or another. Now, people, lets grab a champagne, or a non-alcoholic beverage for those that don't drink (so they won't be left out) and lets celebrate, for tomorrow, the newsletter that is going to be released is a masterpiece, and all thanks, to your contributions. From my heart.

Truly, Eduardo “kensai” Romero

PS: I didn't proofread this, it came so sincere that I felt it would lost its magic if I did. Hope, everything is written in a good English, and most important, coherently.
